  1. I am 19, has inflammation of muscles hopefully learn soon why I have it. I been through a lot in my life like a lot … nothing like drugs or anything more verbual and mental abuse. I become a stronger person. I hope things get better with my pains. I become a stronger person having an illness. I never been taught to grieve from 13 years ago a death of my granduncle

  2. I have slowly learn to grieve , i do miss him but know he be proud of me and I am going through a lot mentally knowing my grandaunt isn’t doing anybetter with cancers( 3 forms)

  3. This is a great video! Wish more people could see this and understand the many things the two of you talk about here. Oh, have I mentioned that I love you, Carmen? You too, Dan… but in a different way. I hope you understand ;)

  4. I’m 26 and feeling really confused about what I’m supposed to do with my life. Just finishing my Masters, but have no idea what my purpose in life is. I’m not so attached to possessions, like having a car (although having the skill of driving is worthwhile) or buying a house. I just want myself and my family to be healthy, to be happy and find love maybe. The modern world is a confusing place to be.

  5. It’s great that you are not so attached to materialistic things. At the end of the day you can’t buy your health and happiness. Everybody has a purpose in life, you just don’t know when you will find it. Don’t give up!

  6. Good list. I would add: Accept that there are limits to what you can do. You don’t need to read every book, learn every language, produce cool stuff. I’m a reasonably talented and creative person, but over time I’ve learned that just because I could pick up a skill doesn’t mean that I should spend the time to do it. It’s inevitable that you will need to pick and choose the things you want to spend your time on. Don’t feel regrets that you can’t do something or have to drop it later. (I’m 47!)

  7. awww…Carmen u look pretty…actually I feel the same way when I was teen and force myself to lose weight…by starving…its not the right way.l..bcoz afterthat I m suffered from bulimia…n now I juz try my best to accept my look…

  8. Well here is what I’ve learned :
1-death can come to us @ any age
2- no one love us like our own parents
3- my sister Is the stable friend in my life
4- my country is not as perfect as I thought it was yet it is still the best place on earth
5-possessions with sentimental value weigh me down & lift me up in the same time
6- be as open minded & adventurous as possible
7- learn about other cultures & religions
8- have political view n vote it matters
9- learn to let go when the time comes

  9. I agree w/ so many things both of you mentioned. I’m in my mid 20′s now and realize that there is so much more for me to learn. I was so lost when I graduated from college. I think the biggest lesson I learned is that the transition from a student to a working adult is not easy. There are a lot of things that school don’t teach you. You really learn from being humble and keeping an open mind to absorb new knowledge. Thanks for sharing!
